On February 15th, 2025, D.A.V. College hosted an unforgettable Welcome, Farewell & Award Ceremony-2025 at Buddha Hall, marking a significant milestone in the lives of our graduating students and the new batch joining the college. This event was a beautiful blend of farewell, new beginnings, and recognition of outstanding achievements.

 

The ceremony was graced by several esteemed dignitaries whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the academic landscape of our institution. We were honored to have Mr. Anil Kedia, Chairman of D.A.V. College, as one of our distinguished guests. The program was also blessed by the presence of our Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Mahananda Chalise, Dean of the Faculty of Management at Tribhuvan University, alongside other respected dignitaries who added grace to the occasion.

 

The event was a spectacular display of talent, spirit, and culture. Our students showcased their creativity through vibrant cultural and semi-cultural dance performances that mesmerized the audience. The program also featured captivating singing performances, making the ceremony a lively celebration of our institution's rich artistic talents.

 

One of the event's highlights was the Award Ceremony, where we recognized students for their hard work, dedication, and achievements in various areas. The awards presented included the Attendance Award, Volunteer Award, Academic Excellence Award (based on T.U. Board exam results), Overall Performance Award, and Toastmasters of the Year Award. These awards were a testament to our students' extraordinary efforts and excellence throughout their academic journey.

 

The program also included a Club Recognition and Handover Session led by the students. This session provided valuable insights into the leadership experiences of outgoing presidents, vice-presidents, and active members from various student-led clubs such as Sports & Event Management Club, Media & Publicity Club, Literature and Publication Club, Social Welfare Club, and recently inaugurated D.A.V. Toastmasters Club. The session allowed the students to share their personal experiences, challenges, and successes in their roles, inspiring the new batch to actively contribute to the diverse and dynamic student life at D.A.V. College.

Our graduates also took the stage to share their heartfelt experiences, reflecting on their time at the college, the challenges they overcame, and the cherished memories they created. These reflections were a testament to the strong bonds they formed at D.A.V. College. The day was filled with entertainment, laughter, and heartfelt moments as we celebrated our students' journey and accomplishments. As the program came to a close, there was a real sense of pride, joy, and expectation for what the future holds.

May you reach even greater heights as you step into the world beyond. To the new students, we extend a warm welcome. We are excited to have you join the D.A.V. family, and we wish you the best of luck on your four-year journey toward success, growth, and discovery.
