With immense pride, D.A.V. College hosted a dynamic Talk Series on Entrepreneurship, designed to inspire and empower students of the BBA/BBM 6th & 7th Semesters and BBS 3rd year. The session offered a unique opportunity for students to hear directly from a rising entrepreneur who is transforming innovation into impact in Nepal’s healthcare landscape.
The session was led by Mr. Salin Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of Neil Orthotics Pvt. Ltd. With a background in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and a passion for improving lives through technology, Mr. Sharma has carved out a distinct space by blending healthcare innovation with innovative, user-friendly product design. Neil Orthotics has gained national attention for its skin-safe, orthopedic products and was recently featured on Shark Tank Nepal, a testament to the company’s originality and potential.
This session was not just a lecture; it was a storytelling and experience-sharing journey. The speaker guided students through an inspiring narrative of starting from scratch, building a business from the ground up, facing challenges, securing a spot on Shark Tank Nepal, and looking ahead to future milestones. Rather than focusing solely on theory, the speaker shared real-world insights, the kind that come only from lived experience. From ideation to execution, from pitching to scaling, the talk provided students with an honest look into the entrepreneurial process. The stories shared were not only educational but also motivational, sparking curiosity and confidence among many students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
At last, students left the session with a renewed sense of possibility, a clearer understanding of what it takes to launch a venture, and a reminder that ambition, resilience, and innovation go hand in hand.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Salin Sharma for taking the time to share his journey and wisdom with our students. His presence made the session truly impactful and memorable.
