Seminar on Research Methodologies
Published on 2025-07-27

D.A.V. College successfully organized a Seminar on Research Methodologies, exclusively designed for students in the 7th semester of BBA/BBM and the 4th semester of BBM, as well as the 4th year of BBS. This academic event was designed to support students in preparing for their Research Project report, a crucial component of their academic journey. The session focused on two fundamental aspects of research writing: selecting an appropriate and impactful research topic and crafting a well-structured and engaging introduction section. These areas form the backbone of a compelling research report, and mastering them is an essential aspect to academic and professional success.
We were honored to welcome Professor Dr. Prem Raj Pant, one of Nepal’s most respected academic figures, as the resource person for the seminar. Dr. Pant is the Former Rector of Tribhuvan University (T.U.) and Former Dean of the Faculty of Management (FOM), T.U. With decades of experience in academic leadership, research supervision, and scholarly writing, Dr. Pant brought exceptional insight and clarity to the session.
Under Dr. Pant’s guidance, students gained in-depth understanding of the research process, from conceptualizing a topic to laying the foundation for a structured report. His thoughtful and interactive approach made the learning environment immensely informative. Students not only absorbed theoretical knowledge but also developed practical examples that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Dr. Prem Raj Pant for his time, effort, and unwavering commitment to academic excellence. His contribution to this seminar has left a lasting impact on our students.
A warm congratulations to all the participating students for actively engaging in the session and unlocking a new level of understanding in research writing and methodologies. We are confident that the skills gained will significantly enhance the quality of their Summer Project reports.
