Management Simulation and Training Program (MSTP)-2025
Published on 2025-07-27

To provide students with hands-on managerial experience and a practical understanding of organizational operations, a highly engaging Management Simulation and Training Program (MSTP) was conducted for BBA & BBM 2nd-semester students from July 19th to 20th, 2025, at the scenic setting of Hotel Country Villa, Nagarkot.
The two-day session was led by Mr. Tekraj Sharma, Senior General Manager at KL Dugar Group, whose extensive experience and deep insights into corporate management created an enriching learning environment for the participants. The highlight of the program was a comprehensive case study on Everest Airline, designed to simulate real-world business scenarios. Students were divided into different departments/teams and tasked with organizing and conducting a Board Meeting. This hands-on exercise involved: appointing a CEO, President, and Departmental Heads, forming teams for Finance, Marketing, HR, Logistics, and other departments, making strategic decisions based on internal coordination and external market conditions.
This practical simulation allowed students to assume leadership roles, practice decision-making, and understand the interconnected dynamics of various departments within an organization. The program provided students with firsthand exposure to internal business functions and highlighted how internal decisions directly impact a company’s external performance and market presence. Through this activity, students developed a deeper appreciation for teamwork, communication, accountability, and strategic thinking —core qualities essential for future managers and entrepreneurs. This initiative was a vital step in preparing students for the professional world, as it allowed them to apply theoretical knowledge in a realistic and engaging setting.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Tekraj Sharma for his leadership and mentorship throughout the session. His guidance made this program truly impactful and unforgettable.Congratulations to all participating students for actively embracing the challenge and maximizing this exceptional learning opportunity.
