With a warm welcome to the new faces of BBS 1st year-22nd batch, the Induction Program 2024 was an essential first step to help the students transition smoothly into college life and familiarize themselves with the vision, mission, values, and principles of D.A.V. College. The week-long induction program was designed to enhance the experience, blending theoretical knowledge with practical insights. The sessions aimed to introduce the students to key management topics and equip them with a proper journey full of endless opportunities, learning, skills, and knowledge over the next four years of their BBS stream.

Throughout the week, students actively participated in engaging sessions led by experts in various fields. The sessions covered various management-related topics vital for their academic and future professional endeavors. The key highlights during the program included IT and application, Design Thinking, Financial Institutions, and their scope and career in Financial institutions. Every day, the new students indulged in practical learning of an IT-related set of skills that could be highly useful for their upcoming classes and after-college lives. Likewise, the importance of creativity and problem-solving techniques was emphasized, and students were introduced to design thinking as a methodology of innovation and an effective decision-making process. During this session, the students were assigned to design their unique product using stationery items, promoting teamwork and presentation skills.

The key objective of the Induction Program was to ensure that the new students fully understood the core values that define D.A.V. College. The program helped introduce them to our approach to reinforcing the importance of academic excellence, holistic development, and ethical practices. The students were also introduced to our teaching-learning pedagogy, which fosters a dynamic learning environment that combines traditional methods with modern techniques. This approach ensures students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for classroom and workplace challenges.
