DAVians Tour to the Eastern Himalayas

Our BBA & BBM 8th Semester students completed an unforgettable journey through the scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage of the Eastern Himalayas, making memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. The trip took them across some of the region’s most iconic destinations, including Darjeeling, famously known as the Queen of Hills; the serene Samdruptse Buddha Park; the lively streets of Gangtok’s MG Road; the breathtaking Changu (Tsomgo) Lake; Tashi View Point; Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok; the sacred Do Drul Chorten Stupa and Enche Monastery; the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology; the vibrant Flower Exhibition; Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park; the Japanese Peace Pagoda and Nipponzan Myohoji Temple; Tenzing Rock; the Darjeeling Ropeway; Mirik; Shree Antu Viewpoint; Kanyam Tea Estate, along with many other beautiful and memorable locations.
From calm mornings greeted by panoramic mountain views to lively markets filled with delicious local food, laughter, and endless photo sessions, every day brought a new experience. The journey offered students the opportunity to explore diverse cultures, appreciate nature’s beauty, and step away from routine academic life. More than just sightseeing, the trip became a time for bonding, reflection, and shared joy, strengthening friendships and creating stories that will be remembered long after graduation. It was not solely a break, but a meaningful celebration of togetherness and the final phase of college life.
