D.A.V. College successfully hosted D.A.V. Inter-College Criksal Cup 2025, a three-day inter-college cricket tournament conducted from 12^th to 14^th June 2025, that brought together passion, sportsmanship, and student leadership in an unforgettable celebration of cricket. Organized under the visionary guidance of D.A.V. College, with the leadership of the dynamic student-led team, D.A.V. Sports and Event Management Club, and proudly supported by D.A.V. Media and Publicity Club and D.A.V. Social Welfare Club.

The tournament was inaugurated by esteemed personalities from Nepal’s sports sector and distinguished dignitaries of D.A.V. College. Special thanks to Mr. Jagat Tamata, Former National Cricket Coach, Nepal; Mr. Santosh Khadka, Ward President-Lalitpur-04; Mr. Sudhir Maharjan, Coach - Bagmati Province and Mr. Shekhar Shrestha, President - Lalitpur Cricket Association. Their presence elevated the event's significance and encouraged the spirit of athletic excellence among students.

With over eight colleges participating, the tournament witnessed intense matches filled with determination, strategy, and heart-pounding moments. Every team brought their higher level of dedication, making it an inspiring platform for showcasing cricket talent. Beyond the boundaries of the pitch, the event turned into a lively fest. Students of D.A.V. College enthusiastically set up food stalls, serving a range of refreshing drinks, snacks, and ice creams, adding a festive flavor to the sporting event.

After three days of electrifying cricket, D.A.V. College and Saraswati Multiple Campus emerged as the finalists, proving their spirit through exceptional performances. Congratulations to Saraswati Multiple Campus, the proud Champions of the Criksal Cup 2025! They claimed the winners’ trophy, medals, and a cash prize of Nrs. 50,000. Kudos to D.A.V. College, the spirited Runner-Up, for showcasing outstanding sportsmanship and earning the trophy, medals,and a cash prize of Nrs. 35,000. A heartfelt appreciation to all participating colleges' enthusiastic involvement and remarkable performances throughout the tournament!

With the successful execution of the Criksal Cup 2025, D.A.V. College once again reinforces its commitment to holistic student development, promoting academic excellence, leadership, teamwork, and extracurricular engagement.
