In a vibrant celebration of World Environment Day, the students of D.A.V. College, under the enthusiastic coordination of the D.A.V. Social Welfare Club, came together for a day filled with creativity, learning, and environmental awareness. The event was marked by a unique and inspiring initiative where students transformed waste materials into beautiful works of art. Working in groups with innovative and creative team names, the participants showcased how sustainability and artistry can go hand in hand. Each group designed visually impressive pieces and conveyed powerful messages through their creations, explaining the purpose and environmental significance behind their artwork.
Adding to the excitement, students also participated in an engaging environment-themed quiz, testing and expanding their knowledge about sustainability, conservation, and global environmental issues.
After the event, the most outstanding teams were recognized and celebrated. Awards were presented in categories including Winner, 1st Runner-Up, and Best Team Award, honoring both the students' artistic excellence and collaborative spirit.
