It is our pleasure to share that the D.A.V. college has accomplished outstanding achievements at the 18th International Youth Festival, known as 'Ghoomar'. The event was organized by the University of Rajasthan and took place on April 5-6, 2023, in Rajasthan, India. Our team has secured the third position overall, having won the Miss Ghoomar Title, Best Talent, the Poetry Segment, and the runner-up position in the Culture Song, Painting, and Cultural Group Dance categories.

It is noteworthy that our team competed against around 60 universities and actively participated in a total of 11 categories, which included Essay Writing, Debate Competition, and Cartooning, among others. D.A.V. students have made us proud by showcasing their skills and talent in various competitions.

We take pride in sharing that The D.A.V. college is an affiliated institution that follows a program and schedule set forth by our parent universities, specifically the Faculty of Management at Tribhuvan University. Our college's curriculum is designed to adhere to strict guidelines and standards, providing our students with the best possible education and exposure. Despite these challenges, our students have proven themselves by competing against one of the oldest universities in India and the largest university in Rajasthan, which has a student body of approximately 25,000 undergraduate and graduate students across multiple departments.

At this international academic platform, our students have had the privilege of representing not just our college and universities but our nation as well. They have displayed our Nepalese culture and talent with great enthusiasm and zest.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our students for their dedication and hard work, and we also take this opportunity to thank our faculty members and staff for their support and guidance throughout the preparation for this event.
